Scouts is all about building skills for life – self-reliance, teamwork, and practical problem solving. 10½-14 year olds take part in fun and adventurous challenges as well as community projects.

Our Scout troop meets on Wednesday evenings 7.30-9.00pm in the Jubilee Hut on Whitmore Vale Road.

We have some spaces available – Contact us to find out how to join in.

What do Scouts wear?

Uniform

Scouts wear a dark green shirt/blouse and navy blue trousers, with a Scouts belt and dark shoes. In summer, for informal events, it is fine to wear navy shorts.

Shirts, trousers, shorts, and belt are available from Scout shops in Guildford or Farnham, or online here. We will provide their badges and black/red scarf. This diagram shows where to sew each of the badges.

For outdoor or special activities, your leader will advise the most appropriate clothing for the conditions. Finally, please don’t forget to ensure your child’s name is in every item of clothing!
